The weeping
Compassion
The experience of melancholy and deep grief on certain days without any palpable reason..the feeling of physical pains and aches without physical ailments and the strange and thick hanging shade of gloom like impending death. Do any of you find this familiar terrain?
If you are a sensitive human walking the planet and who is on a inner quest of any sort, you are sure to have experienced these shades of grey. A paradox unlike the true bliss, peace and calm demeanor glorified in spiritual texts and by Gurus, these earthly pangs of disappointment, sorrow and failure have been more near at hand.
If you are a rather quiet harmless person not messing with anyone in general, not judging, not hurting, not agressive in ur inner milleu, the chances are fairly high that the general predisposition of humans around you scar and bleed you. For them selfishness, pride and dominance are default settings and they r unconsciously playing it out and projecting their opinions as some righteous elixir pushed down your gullet. They believe themselves to be some kind of Messiahs guiding humanity to its evolution. When we meet such Men and women, the true lesson of forgiveness is remembered and too painful to implement.
What do we do in such settings…barricade ourselves from their default and oozing pus of negativity or simply be indifferent to their presence or radiate forgiveness and love neutralizing their selfish, angry and bitter resentments. Each one must make his choice. This brings to mind a very profound statement by a dear friend, ” Our compassion ought to be larger than their hunger.”
