THE BIRTH…
I found myself in a pitch dark,
It was cold and lonely here…
Time had no notion of me
Only semi-formed was I.
In my bewilderment,
I felt my limbs grow.
In my half demented state,
Midway between life and death,
A sweetness dropped by on the ear….
Ah!My first contact point with life.
You sang me a melody divine.
I Tried to see, Yet vision failed.
My eyes were a painful shut.
I longed to witness the form of you
And know what life was all about.
À creak happened to break the silence,
And like cracks in parched land,
You split open my cataracts…
Ah! Now I could hear and see
The one who had birthed me…
In tenderness and awe,
I was in your loving embrace,
You smiled at my novist form,
I smiled back
In silent gratitude….
To acknowledge my Guru…the divine mother…
