Devi being the embodied Aishwarya principle, as we most often see her draped in silk sarees and expensive jewellery undergoing elaborate abhishekams in temples, we might begin to have a bias in our minds about her being only a material abundance magnet of some sort. No doubt of that, she enables sukha nd samridhi, material and spiritual opulence for us, but who is Devi at heart?

Devi at heart does not need any of what we offer to her. she is complete, eternal and whole. what we offer is of our bhava of devotion to her as we are often caught in the dwaita bhava of worshipping her. At the Bindu consciousness, Devi can be perceived as the awadhootha who cares least for any possessions or identities of any sort. Nirmala is her state which is fully quenched and satiated with the phenomenon of life as it is. her utter contentment and state of explosive bliss is emerging from her state of SAT-CHIT-ANANDA and kaivalaya which is too full to desire anything from anyone.

May we know the avadhootha state of DEVI as the eternal atman self that we are, non-dual and wholesome.
