Beethoven…A Tapestry of Love & Loss.

While the towering inferno of personal losses and a depleting hearing faculty raged at Ludwig Beethoven’s being, he remained audacious and unfaltering in the face of inner despair. His justice and loyalty to music remained unhampered while he battled the faculty to capture the musical notes in keenness by his failing ears. At the edge of every single loss of a keynote, the king of symphony only arose in a novel way to outflow from his being, a new Sonata. His compositions only raged and screeched more to the unforgiving skies to proclaim him as a master craftsman. The antithesis of his work lies in its appropriate juxtaposition of fear, despair, sorrow, rupture and its antonyms of unshakable will, the tenacity of purpose and a passion which was the signature of his life. The paradox of his own lives was many…. The biggest one being his deafness….a death knell for any musician. His high ideals of work made him temperamental and intolerant to imperfectness. Many considered him brutally idealistic. His operas hardly lulled the audiences…. Only sparked their inner flame and were rudely shocking to his students who were tested primally to perform at their highest potentials. He tested the privilege of human fullness for himself and all whom he tutored. A genius has little capacity for anything that shackles his freedom of expression and the autocratic times of Napoleon and European transitions threatened his freedom many times. Coupled with financial insecurity, his increasing deafness, his inability to compromise on the quality of his work, the many lost love affairs and his own lonely and impulsive temperament plunged him into deep anguish and right in the middle of all this mirth, he composed his best works. In awe of his own brilliance, he remained undeterred to shift from his high standards of excellence.

He truly is a crafted one from the infallible source of this universe.
