Autumn in a Cup
The spring flowers are long gone.
The left over leaves hanging
On to their last threads.
It’s dark even when
I have been up for hours
Allmost like half a day gone.
The evening turns in early.
The birds flock to their cozy nests.
This life has seasons
That pass over
The canvas of the unchanging self.
I am once again
in my soulful solitude,
It’s quiet..
And I sip
On
The autumn in my cup…
