The grace of the golden tear…
Why do you shed these tears of gold?
For you…isn’t this world a mockery
Of your own created illusion?
Do you also experience grief and pain
As we mortals do?
Your exuberance
In an ever-building explosion…
The dance of exotic celebrations of life
Find their way through your orifice…
Then …why these tears Maa?
And for whom do you weep?
On your dark countenance
These tears anoint with a golden hue.
Your beauty reveals to me
In a paradox of opposites…
My mind in a stunned silence
Prostates at thy lotus feet…
Just then… the shunned tear…
Alights on my crown…
Ah…
Now I know
Why you shed those tears…
