QUICK TO JUDGE
In the instant coffee kicks and the virtual life prodigy, we have become hyperminded intellectual monsters of some kind. Prey to our minds, we have stopped feeling and perceiving because the mind is ever too dominant and unfortunately biased and judgemental.
To the mind, everything is a cause..a trigger to which it responds to. Responses in thought, action and words. Quick wit is a skillset and a pride exhibition of our egoes. We can see beyond what’s transmitted and think it’s some kind of an art to boast about.
That’s why the minute a sight, an experience, a person or anything befalls us..we are all set to judge and pass commandments. Our ability to observe without bias is severely compromised and we are only paralyzed with thoughts and opinions.
Stillness can solve this agonizing sequela of continuous judgement and if practised mindfully a few minutes a day also can slowly become a reflex. Observation, perception and experience can replace judgement, criticism and an embodied living experience can replace a plastic intellectual grasp.
May you feel and know rather than learn and know…
Love n Light.
