I SEE BUT I DON’T FEEL (Poem)

Across the windowpane
I watch the days pass by.
The day and the nights
Of rain, sun and moon.
In my short lifespan,
I seem to know more and more.
But I forgot to feel and sense
the perceptions of life and love.

Had I not invited this upon me
That I remain as a neutral observer?
So now I only keep seeing
Until my eyes become heavy and close…
